A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph the very lovely Alison and her horse Denver. Not forgetting her cute dog, Lucy who obviously keeps Denver in check! Alison is a dressage rider and helps to run the Woodington Training Centre.
Between the constant rainy days, we managed to find ourselves a beautiful sunny evening for the photoshoot. All the photos were shot at the yard itself using the nearby field. I love the connection between Alison and Denver – they have a very special relationship. And little Lucy had her photography moment in the end too.
You will have to agree that Denver is so super sparkly. Who says diamonds are a girl’s best friend?
“The lovely Jo Worthington offered me & my pony…& Lucy obviously, a photo shoot not knowing how rubbish I can be in front of the camera. I seem to be very good at gurning or closing my eyes at the wrong time so I was a bit worried about how it would go!
I needn’t have worried, she made the whole experience relaxed & fun. Denver was like an old pro standing wherever we parked him looking gorgeous (& very clean I hope you noticed!) Lucy obviously is an old pro & showed us all how it was done!
