As the Autumn sun was setting over the New Forest, I was photographing the lovely Izzy and Bean, a gorgeous Connemara pony with plenty of spirit and fun. Izzy has oodles of confidence and is in full control of Bean. We met at my favourite place in the New Forest, which offers beautiful colours and a great backdrop for photographs. We even got mum in some of the photos too.
With the light falling, the colours and Izzy’s magical unicorn – in this beautiful setting it all felt so removed from everyday life. I love their friendship and connection and feel that I have captured both their personalities.
