Your photoshoot experience is about taking time to be with your best friend. My job is to create a space for you to connect and enjoy each others company whilst I capture your friendship and love.

These beautiful moments deserve to be treasured, adored, captured and remembered!

What better way to do that, than with a beautiful and timeless photo session of you and your horse.

And to make this moment last forever, each photo session includes a framed image to love and cherish every day.

Before, during and after your session

Before your photoshoot

Every photo shoot is bespoke and unique to you, so at your first enquiry, I find it useful to chat on the phone to discuss your equine photoshoot needs.

Once you’re ready to book, I will send you a welcome guide packed full with tips, information and pricing.

We will talk either by email, phone or face-to-face to make sure you are fully prepared. This is where we can discuss clothing and locations and any other questions you may have.

About 2 days before the photoshoot I’ll get in touch again for a final catch up and to make sure everything is going smoothly.

On the day

On the day I will arrive either at your yard or a designated place that we discussed prior to your shoot. As we walk around looking at locations we can get to know each other. This is also a great time to look at your outfits.

It is perfectly normal to be nervous but after a while, you’ll forget about the camera as you’ll be having so much fun.

I’m very relaxed and have a gentle nature so we’ll get along just fine.

I will gently guide you into poses and hopefully your horse will follow suit but please don’t worry if they don’t like something or he/she misbehaves – it’s very normal – we can adapt to the situation and move on to the next spot.

Most of all enjoy spending this time with your best friend and I’ll capture this time of you together.

After your photoshoot?
  • After your photo shoot, I will hand edit your images to a high standard – please allow 2 weeks for this.
  • I’ll contact you within those 2 weeks to arrange a private viewing and ordering session at your home.
  • Your private viewing and ordering session is your time to choose your favourite images. I will bring frame samples and an album so you can choose which products you would like to purchase. I am a firm believer in printing your products but if you prefer you can buy all the images as digital files. It is very important that all decision-makers are present at this time!
Frames, albums + prints
  • I only use the best British professional suppliers for my albums and frames.
  • As all products are handcrafted it can take 3-4 weeks to be crafted and delivered.
  • Your images will be beautifully packaged and either picked up here or delivered securely to your home.
  • Yay! You now have a lifetime of memories to cherish forever.
I have more than one horse and can I bring the family?

Of course, you can have all your horses and children and the rest of the family including your dog. Just let me know when you book your session, so we can allocate more time for the photoshoot.

What to wear at the photoshoot?

The most important thing is to be comfortable and confident in what you are wearing. I recommend 2-3 outfit changes. Wear trousers or a skirt, a pretty shirt, blazer or jacket, jeans, long boots. Floaty and glamorous dresses look fab too. (Try and avoid really bright colours and logos)

I will discuss clothing ideas with you prior to the shoot and can offer styling advice on the day too. Have a look through my What to wear guides for inspiration and ideas.

What if it rains?

British weather is unpredictable, so if it’s a light drizzle we may brave it and look for breaks in the weather but if it is torrential rain and it will spoil your photos or make everyone miserable then we will reschedule a new date. When booking keep an extra day in the month just in case!
