Meet Izzy and Copper

Izzy and Copper had a gorgeous late summer evening photo shoot at the most beautiful farm in Downton, Wiltshire.

The backdrop was beautiful –  corn fields, tracks up the hill with high haystacks and amazing views. This farm is a photographers dream. And the light was so soft, perfect and dreamy.

Izzy’s mum, Tasha also wanted a family photo with their two dogs and their horse. It certainly was a fun challenge trying to get the dogs and everyone looking at the same time!

Now, I have been very lucky to have photographed Izzy twice before with her Connemara horse, Beanie.

About two months ago they bought Copper and wanted a photoshoot to celebrate him. He is a stunning 6-year-old warmblood thoroughbred, which Izzy really enjoys showjumping with.

Tasha has been a rider since she was 8 years old, so it was natural that her daughter at the age of 2 started riding and getting her first horse at age 9.

And you can tell, Izzy is such a natural with her horse. I really admire her strength and resilience.

“Welcoming Copper ? with a wonderful photo shoot from Jo. She really is the most amazing photographer and we feel so lucky to have these beautiful pictures. Thank you Jo for your time, care and lovely photos.”

I asked Tasha if she had any concerns before the photoshoot but she said that my emails were a big help. Every one of my clients receives a welcome guide which tells you what to expect, ideas of what to wear and prepping your horse prior to a shoot. Plus I am always on hand to answer any questions.

Tasha had ordered the album package, I can’t wait to see it when it arrives.
